My AFS experience (Exchange Students Program)

          When I was in X grade, I was interested in AFS program which was sent my senior to USA without any charge. To join this competition I needed to prepared many kinds of files such as copied of report legalized until Junior High School files were needed a lot that time. After we were completing the files, we collected that files and waiting for the next test.

As I remember, there were about 4 tests to get this exchange experience. Firstly was about writing test included General Knowledge and Essay. I was doing that test and luckily I passed. For the second test was interview test. In this test, there were two kinds of interview. One was Indonesia interview and other is English interview. I was doing bad on both. And I’ve thought that I won’t pass in this test. In this test there were 5 participants who passed from last test, those were Me, Vella, Ovi, Caca, and Lintang.

From those five kids, in this test only two kids who was passed on that day, they were Vella and Ovi. Then they follow the next test that was Dynamics Groups. And the forth test was held in Jakarta but also the same things like the 3^rd test. But not one of SMAN 5 participants were passed until the 4^th test.
